Collection of 11 Silver Thimbles including American Examples, Charles May and Henry Griffiths:
1. American - Marked with 'S' in shield inside dome and 'Sterling 7' on band. Punched top with ornate band and rim
2. Marked inside dome as 'USA Sterling Silver' and with 'S' in a shield. Punched top with ornate band and plain rim.
3. Stamped 'Sterling' in dome along with the Ketcham & McDougall makers mark. Punched top flower band and patterned rim.
4. Tiny (possibly child's) thimble marked Birmingham 1916 on rim. Also has a maker's mark of 'F' stamped. Punched dome and sides with plain rim. Approximately 13mm high and 10cm in diameter.
5. Charles May Floral Sterling Silver Thimble. Floral Dome and Band set with one red stone. Birmingham 1902.
6. Two Henry Griffiths & Sons Sterling Silver. Birmingham 1952. Celebrating Coronation of Elizabeth II and carrying coronation hallmark. Decorated with ER and crown.
7. Two Henry Griffiths & Sons Sterling Silver. Birmingham 1888. Patterned border.
8. Lotthammer-Eber Silver and Enamel Thimble - West Germany. Six-pointed star on dome. Enamel band of roses on a pale green background.
9. American Sterling Silver Thimble. Marked 'Sterling' in dome along with a star icon as makers mark. Punched top with wide decorated band.
10. Dorcas Thimble. Filigree silver over the steel. Wide faceted band at base. Marked PAT.10.
11. Dorcas Thimble. All-over daisy pattern with plain band at base. Marked PAT.5.
