1. John Thompson & Sons Thimble. Chester 1887. Punched with decorative band.
2. Henry Griffiths & Sons Sterling Silver Thimble with Green Stone Top. Birmingham 1926.
3. Charles Horner Sterling Silver Thimble. Chester 1903. Floral border. Engraved with initials 'M.G.'
4. White metal with turquoise stones to band.
5. Thought to be Austrian. Ornate dome and rim.
6. Believed to from Thailand. Applied dancing figures on sides, engraved figure of Buddha on dome.
7. Coral coloured stone top. Decorated with small shield. Minute undecipherable mark on rim to left of shield.
8. Dutch-style with blue and white enamel band with figures
9. Engraved with sprays of flowers and leaves. Punched flat dome. Marked 925. London 1978
10. White metal. Celebrates re-election of Margaret Thatcher in 1983. Blue enamel rosette on front. The Thimble Society of London.
